I have my boat in the our shop doing all the winter things and am considering adding doors to the front of the storage areas so you don't have to move the cushions, pull out the hatch realize that what you needed is really in the next one over, have to move more stuff ect. Has anybody done this? I was also considering cutting an oval out of them I took the panel off across from the head and am looking at adding more storage here as well. Is there any concern about these being part of the structure? They didn't really look like it. Thanks for any input. Rob Morton S/V Euphoria

Access Doors

Take a look at the doors Mike Harms added to his Hunter 260.

I luv it! I'll post again for my cut out around the V berth.

v berth cut out

This opening makes the boat interior feel bigger and much cooler in the V berth. Curtains cover the modest potty goer.

Thanks for the pics

Thanks for the input and pics. I am cutting out some of the panels this weekend as well as prepping the inside to get away from oil rubbed teak and am putting on a gloss spar urathane. Hope to have it all ready for launch day April 15th, if we can still afford a boat after tax day. Thanks again, Rob Morton
