teak cockpit floorboard grid

I am looking for that nice teak "grid" cockpit floorboards, or plans to build them. Anyone know where this could be found? Thanks.

Just buy the teak wood, it's a little expensive, but you see here is a simple pattern. I drilled these pieces together, counter sink the screws and put in the teak plugs, sand, varnish and its done. On the bottom is 1/4 inch thick pads to keep it off the deck.

cockpit grid

Should be pretty easy to build one, I have one for my boat, it's a true grid style, roughly 1" strips, and 1" square holes, but it's in bad shape, has a few split sections, and loose spots and I need to rebuild it or build a new one.  I'm busy till friday, but If no one has designs available, I'll take some photos and write up any building tips I can think of, and try to get them up somewhere sat or Sun. tools you're going to need for it are a table saw, a dado blade for the t-saw or a router, a sabre saw/band saw, and a drill  looks like it'll help use up a lot of otherwise too small to use teak, but may be easier to build if you use full boards.Ken.

West Marine sells grid pieces in their catalog

Rob, West Marine sells pre-cut teak strips for making grids in their catalog. (www.westmarine.com) I think one of the recent issues of "Latitudes and Attitudes" magazine (Maybe the June or July issue?) had an article on measuring and putting together a grid around the pedestal.
