I am in the process of installing my new holding tank from Triple M, thanks all for the link to them. While the floor boards are all up I would like to lightly sand them down and redo them. Did Hunter use Dalys Seafin on them? Mine appear to have a varnish applied to them that is pretty scuffed up. Any suggestions on what to use will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

I Think So...

... but I switched to Helmsman Spar semi gloss when I did mine several times before putting a Lonseal floor in. When you look at the finish under the cabinetry, it certainty looks like Dalys.

We were told by Hunter a few years back that the Daly's profin was the original. We have redone our floors twice with the following and they come out looking phenominal.

We use the Gloss and they also have a less shiny Satin. (just depends on yoru preference). Each time, we have done 5 coats, lightly sanding in between each coat.

HI, Frank, I don't have a floor refinishing answer for you but was curious where you're moored in OB? Are you with the Marine Center?

I am at CA-39. OBMC places my mooring and I use there launch service. Hoping to be in May 1st. You?

About the sole, I am using Epifanes High Gloss clear varnish (laid down 4 so far, building to six) and two top coats of Epifanes rubbed effect varnish. I used this on my last boat. Held up great and was "tacky" when wet.

Thanks
