I hope they prosper! Hope to see thousands of sailors with tattoos in the coming years, wait, uh, that came out wrong.

Guess I just Don't like the name tattoo, wish they would reconsider that name.

Well, now that we've got the full line production going in another country, solved a lot of the world's problems and prevented a Russian incursion, what are we gonna talk about?

Oh wait, you Yanks still can't go there. :naughty:

I don't either. The first thing that comes to mind is some rediculous tramp stamp, regardless of what the name really means, I'm probably not in the minority. But I may be when it comes to the name macgregor. I don't care for that name either but it has nothing to do with the boat or design, it just reminds me of the cheap sporting goods. Sort of like AMF.

Maybe a sail boat needs to have a good European name to sound good. Ahh it doesn't matter. What do I know and who really cares what I think.

Wasn't a very wise marketing based decision to go with that name. If the twenty and thirtysomethings who love the inking of bodies and think its cool actually had any excess income they could free up for a sailboat it would be different. In this day and age half the kids in that age group can't even scrape up the cash to move out of mom and dad's house.

Exactly. As a marketing guy, the last thing I want to do is to spend money, time and effort convincing my target customers that the name of my company is not STUPID.
