I don't think they did them for the 28.5

I talked to US sailing before and I think they did them for just the 35.5. Cliff

US sailing doesn't have them

John - I actually called US Sailing. The only Hunter they have Polars for is the 35 (I think it was the 35). I have been racing the 28.5 for 2 seasons now in a very competitive fleet. We finish 2 to 5th depending on the conditions. Light wind we suck. It is probably the my helmsmanship but man do we get killed. Heavy air triangle course and we are one of the boats to beat. Let me know how you do. I would like to see what is working for you. Get a good mainsheet trimmer to help keep you flat and fat bodies on the rail for those heavy air days. Light air. keep them at the bar. I am still looking to find how people handle down wind sailing. That is our worst point of sail. I am always tempted to sail the angles just scary to leave the fleet. Keep in touch. First race for us is 5/18

Bill and other's

For all those racing the 28.5 it would be nice if we could get in a group like on Yahoo so when one has a question it goes to all that are in the group. How do we do this? I am on a few for my car but not for sailing. I do not know how to set this up. I can think of a few owners that would like this. Me for one and I am sure Eugene would like it also. Cliff

I don't race my 28.5, but might in the future. I keep tabs on this forum and the racing forum on this site. Let me know if you form something else. Maybe you could get Fred Lawrence to join in. Matt Sanderson sanderson@rpa.net
