I was hoping to make the old (original!) UK sails on my 91 H30 last till next year before replacing. The jib just blew apart though so I have to decide on something now. I'm new to the US and don't know what's what over here really. Can someone advise a good choice of sail for me? I don't have any long distance cruising in mind just daysailing. I like getting the best from the boat but won't be racing it. This H30 is frac rig. The chaps over the canal say I should go with Rolly Tasker (they've all just bought them) and they do look well made and would come in for about $2.3K Help please! My tops budget is about $4k. Is it worth spending it all?

...for Doyle in the Chandlery section (see the tabs on top of the home page). Many of the posters on the board have purchased here and have had good results. They have a sail calculator so that you can estimate the cost. I would stay with a good quality dacron for your sailing. The material is important-tight weave and less resin filler and coating for longevity. Good luck, RIck D.
