So my 27 has a lack of tanks on board. I've seen in philwsailz thread http://forums.catalina.sailboatowners.com/showthread.php?t=123450&page=4
where he added the 30 gal tank, which I'm thinking would be a nice size. Overall as far as list/trim go would this setup make sense.
I'd like to locate 4 t-105 batteries on the Starboard side, under the berth, but as forward as possible. It would would be close to the same amount of weight 280lbs vs the ~310lbs for the water and tank, but the water tank would be more forward and the batteries would be more aft. See attached image.
Would putting a holding tank (grey water for now) in the V-berth make the most sense?
As far as plumbing goes, would one water pump (the circle on the drawing) with a T-fitting be sufficient to have water to at both sinks (galley, head)?
For drainage, I think that gravity would work well for the head sink, but the galley sink with the distance would need something different(pump) or do you think that there could be sufficient drop in the drain line to have a gravity drain work.
Thanks
