Was thinking....see the smoke? I want to replace my 50 gal steel diesel fuel tank on sv free Wiley, its rusty and old and heavy. I am going to install a 2003 volvo engine 28hp on the Morgan 33 outisland. What size tank should i get and what material should it be made of? Aluminium, poly, frp? I guess i will get around .5 gal per hour at cruising speed of 5kts. So thats 10kts per gallon x 50gal =500 kt miles or so. I will eventually be living and cruising with her and plan to do the bahamas, mexico, Panama canal, Cali coast, baha coast, and posibly to Fiji, and Hawaai. I know more is better than not enough but if the fuel goes bad, or gets growth it would be much easier to clean a couple of 20 gallon tanks than one large 50 gal right. Opinions/info greatly appreciated. There is 2 25gal ss sadle tanks on craigslist for $50 right now. thanks patrick
