let it dry out and then turn it on its side so one corner is down and use a shop vac to get the rest out through the inspection port or the gauge hole....There still some fine aluminum filings in my tank after rework. The fellow who did the work indicated he washed the tank out. What level of this type of contamination is acceptable?
That is how I started the cleaning, but it soon became apparent that there was more stuck to the walls. So I rinsed again with #2 and sucked that out again. I did this a few more of times, each time getting less.let it dry out and then turn it on its side so one corner is down and use a shop vac to get the rest out through the inspection port or the gauge hole....
