Peggy et alI think I know the answer to this but wanted some corroboration from the expert or someone with experience.I replaced the holding tank some time ago and would have preferred to add a tank monitor with external sensor but presumed it would never be accurate. As you can see from the pic, the tank (40 gallon cap) is quite thin vertically once installed - about 6 inches high. Would a tank monitor be precise enough to warrant installation or would the typical rocking over such a wide surface area negate any reasonable measurement?By way of example, a slow rocking motion would result in the contents moving drastically from 0 - 6 inches making it appear as an instantaneous change from empty to full depending on what side the sensor is.
