Thanks for the heads up Witz. I will check ladder hinges ASAP. Did you have to remove rudder to get tank out?

No way to remove rudder, post is glassed in. It might come out easier if you take the water heater out, but of course I never choose the easy way. I had to remove the wall in front of the holding tank, and force the thing around the corner while holding down the mecerator pump and flexing the wall of the holding tank in. It just barley came out, and no way was I going to get it back in so I had the guy who patched it cut the back port corner off. It went back in with no problem. In hind sight the way I removed it probably saved me a lot of time, but it was risky because it might have gotten stuck. The thing about this is that I have a dry bilge, it was not leaking enough to ever show up there, just enough to keep the lower front corner wet down it the basin, depriving the aluminum of O2, add a little NaCl and bingo, crevice corrosion.
