Tank conversion

Hi everyone,
Read through the other threads and didn't see an answer to this.
I have a 1988 Hunter 26.5 and the PO removed the porta-potty and replaced it with a marine head. The 17 gallon fresh water tank was converted into a holding tank. The PO put in vents, pump out lines, etc.. so everything’s legit and functional.
Here’s the question, I still have a ½” polybutylene line running back from the sink. Is there a bladder or collapsible tank I can put in next to the holding tank (Do I want to do that? Or find a different area?) to have the sink functional again?
I can post supporting pics tomorrow if anyone has some usable knowledge/ideas.

Bladder tanks come in different shapes and sizes. Define the available space and your needs to determine a size and shape that would be most appropriate for you. As far as placing the fresh water and the black water tanks next to each other I would advise against it if possible. An accidental overflow or leak of the waste water tank could contaminate your drinking water. We had a boat once where we fitted a 5 gallon jerry-can as a fresh water tank and operated the faucet with a foot pump. The can just happened to fit in a space next to the sink.

Hunter years ago used a collapsible plastic 5 gallon container that you should be able to find at camping stores.

Benny - that verifies what I was thinking about placement. I will look around the gally for unused (HA! That's funny!) space to mount a removable tank of some sort.
CzyD - I'll look for one, as that might make the placement easier.
I'll update when I get it figured out.

One additional question, the little mushroom shaped fitting on the supply hose, do you know if that is universal or Hunter specific? (Yes I know I can just replace it, but I hate pitching things that are servicible and functional.)
