Currently anchored up in the Manatee River, on the south side of Tampa Bay. For the past couple of weeks the weather has been very strange and spooky. Moreso than I can ever remember. The 100 mile run from Pensacola to Port St.Joe took 30 hours. Sailed until boat speed got down to the point didn't have steerage way. Ended up motoring the last 30 miles, which was the fastest 30 of the entire crossing. The 200 mile run from Port St.Joe over to Tampa took 36 hours. All sailing so far has been either dead calm, or else 25 to 30 knots. On the nose of course. Now were anchored up here, and it is blowing from 25 to 30 knots. Seas offshore are 10 +.
