Tall Rig without bowsprit?

Can anyone tell me if Catalina built any tall rigs without the bowsprit. I own hull #5787- 1990 C30 MkII. It has the wing keel and no bowsprit and (I assume) the standard rig. I just replaced the main halyard and it is too short at 91'. Could my boat be a shoal draft with the tall rig and no bowsprit?

Yes. According to PHRF records, Catalina did, along with pretty much every possible combination of mast, keel, and bowstem.

OK thanks- now dumb question #2... how can I tell if I have the tall or standard rig?

One way would be to measure it. The C30 website should have brochures showing the different mast extrusion lengths. http://www.catalina30.com/ Good luck.

The aluminum extrusion is 40' for standard and 42' for tall according to the parts list
