Light Air & Props
The tall rig C36 has a two-foot taller mast, which gives you an additional 45 square feet of rated sail area. Helps when the winds are generally under 15 knots. I'm in Seattle with similar prevailing winds as you. I would always prefer a tall rig version if available. Speed differences are not huge, from less than a knot to almost the same depending on conditions, but there are differences. On props, a folding or feathering prop lets you sail roughly 1/2 to 3/4 knot faster. I personally use a feathering three bladed Auto prop. It's not the lowest resistance one for sailing, but I think it motors better than other folding or feathering models or two bladed fixed, so it's a good compromise for me. As to whether it's worth the money, that's up to you.
