In early November, the Salty Dawg Rally managed to get themselves lots of attention in the sailing community, and require full-utilization of the United States Coast Guard mid-atlantic SAR assets. Multiple boats required assistance off Hatteras, quickly overloading the Coast Guard. Here is the story of one, Zulu, an Alden54, and their Coast Guard angels aboard Block Island.
