Hi Alan

The best wind generator is probably the Aerogen.Very
relaible and silent... There is a shop near Chateaugay
(Solaire desing )that have them in stock .
www.solairedesing .com.

I'm tring to find a replacement product for the
waterproofness of cockpit floor, cockpit lids, and
font hatch.What did you use?

Bonjour Patrice

I used a product made by Taco Metals for hatch seals.

at&ref=cat_weather_seal

Whoaa, that is a big link. Try www.tacomarine.com under trim &
molding then weather seal and hatch tape. I used 0109 for the forward
hatch and 0748 for the cockpit lockers. These products are readily
availible at most marine stores.

I can vouch for the forward hatch seal. I did not study the tide
tables before leaving Miami. We put the bow of Voila through some
waves up to the mast. A little choppy. The boat stayed bone dry.

I checked out the site for Quebec dealer for Aerogen. Pas donner. I
like that it is a bit smaller than other models.

I will pass by to look at the Aerogen next time I am in Chateauguay.

Thank you for your help

Hello Patrice, The seals are distrubuted in Canada through Paynes
Marine. Most marine stores can order them. I can certainly get them
as we are a dealer. The retail price is $19.20 cdn for 10 feet of
seal.

I fond the seals at Boat House yesterday. It was a bit
cheaper 'cause they reajust the price due to stronger
value of our canadian money. Thanks anyways. I' m
looking to buy a good used ,or new storm jib for my
vega and also an asymetrical spi. What are the size
best suited for our boats? How much they go for?

If you happen to be passing North Yorkshire in the UK Patrice; I have an excellent Vega Spinnaker, complete with poles & sheets, etc. that I'm trying to sell.
