To determine if you have water in the tank, try to reach a rod into the opening and draw out from the very lowest point.

Absent that, dismantle the primary fuel filter and dump the contents in a jar and let it settle. Any water will sink to the bottom.

To prevent water in the tank, use the emulsifier made by various companies to spread the water around so it burns through the engine. Use only the amounts recommended.

False alarm. The boat does appear to "ride" a bit lower in the back but there is no water in the boat. Could be the paint job creating an illusion, or maybe the S2 just sits that way. I was quite relieved.
