C25 Help

Steve, If you are planning on purchasing a C25 and have a question, then you need to ask it over at the Sailor's Forum on the C25/250 National Association website. At the national association website you'll find information concerning mast stepping as well as safely trailering your C25. In addition, you'll find fellow sailors willing to give friendly advice on just about any topic. Click on the related link to to take you to the C25/250 National Association website. From there, go to the "Sailor's Forum", then to the "Catalina 25 Specific Forum" to ask questions pertaining to the C25.

2-3 people . . .

would be advisable if you do not have any experience taking down the mast. I have the C-22 and the mast is a few feet shorter. I can raise and lower the mast myself, but it is always easier with an extra person. Check the web for some illustrations on mast lowering. It would be best if you could bring someone who has experience with taking a mast down - Catalina or otherwise - they are all about the same. Regards, Ted
