Our Tacktick wind indicator continues to lose signal. Prior to launch we brought the unit down from the mast and "paired" the signals. All was well for a couple weeks and now the signal is lost. We tried resetting and hoisting the receiving unit up the mast to no avail. We're a 38 foot with a 49 foot mast. I'm wondering if the unit is too far away? I've searched Raymarine's support page and it seems to be somewhat common.

Anyone else have this issue? I hate to have to replace the instruments. I've searched for a signal amplifier but haven't found anything.

I have had my system from Tack tick for 3 years with no problems. I have a Catalina 34 with mast up 49+ feet. I also keep the gauges in the house some 100 feet from the boat in the back canal and can activate them most of the time. could it be the battery? I have not had to replace or do anything to mine. I have the complete set of instruments.
