The tack on my C-36 with Universel M-25 engine does not work. I have tried 3 different new ones with no luck. These are the kind that hooks up to the Alternator. I have made sure the wiring is good via a ohms meter and verified that the AC is good and it is the same as other Universel Engines, about 30 volts AC. So if all the voltages check out but the tacks don't work, what am I missing?

Tachometer solutions

There are several different tachs that have been supplied over the years. Most likely, your problem has to do with the "dip" switches on the back of the tach. If you can tell me exactly by part number the tach you purchased, I may be able to help.tpiper@rbgrove.com
