When the table below decks is lowered, there is nothing to secure it and it can easily slide off to starboard (which it did when we left lowered during a sail). I've seen a latch on one 33; does anyone else have a latch on their 33 table?

Yep

Yours must be a bit different then mine. Mine cannot pivot starboard of center because it would hit the compression post. My table pivots from the corner of the galley behind the sink and can either be secured in a stowed position against the galley over the port settee with both "wings" lowered, or swung out, lowered and secured against the compression post when in use. When stowed it is secured with a pin type latch. It is secured in the in use position with a small bracket attached to the compression post that is a lip for an opposing bracket on the table to sit in.

new 33

Sorry, I'm talking about the new 33's - compression post is in the V berth. Table lifts off of two removable posts that are then stowed and the table just sits on the seats with support on 3 sides, which (on mine) is not secured.

I have one on hull #169 -

One barrel bolt on the forward underside edge of the table. I haven't lowered the table to try it out, but it doesn't look like it would be very secure, and it doesn't look like one barrel bolt will really hold the thing in place.

barrel bolt

Thanks, that's what I saw on another H33- but again, I don't have it on mine and even one is still better than zero. I think they forgot to put it on. My dealer's email to Hunter got a response that there was no latch (bolt) for the table to secure it, hence my inquiry since I saw it on another new 33. Now I know that at least 2 33's have it.

barrel bolt

I have one on mine and it along with a block on the aft port side of the table seem to hold it in place to sleep on. We have not let the table down during sailing. My hull number is 171
