We're spending the summer in Maine on the shores of Penobscot Bay, chomping at the bit to go sailing. Tomorrow,we pick up our "new" 1993 Hunter 19! Therefore,I expect I will be having much and many questions about the boat. The first one concerns the lack of a table. Has anyone come up with a good solution? Second, What auto pilot works well? (I expect to be solo sailing much of the time.) The boat dosen't have roller furling like I had on my 23.5, am I going to miss it? We will be trailering the boat, does not having roller furling make the boat easier to rig? Guess that's enough for now. Thanks in advance for your replies.

I've got a buddy

That'll know anything you want to know about it, I think. He's got one and seems to love it. His name is Doug doug888@bellsouth.net

We use a folding table

I think it came from West Marine. About 24" x 18", folds almost flat for storage. Also have an older, smaller plastic version. These probably would not be too useful in the cockpit while underway, but they work fine when at anchor, in or out.

autopilot

I have a Raytheon ST2000 autotiller for my H26. Don't know the cost, it was added to the boat by the previous owner. It works great. (Good for keeping head-to-wind while going forward to hank on the jib!)
