Hi chaps,

I have the table top for the double berth, but the connector at the bottom seems to be missing, there is just a hole in the floorboards! I also cannot find anything that would be the main 'stem' for the table.

Can someone post pics of both the bottom connection where it connects onto the floorboard, and also the 'stem'?

Thanks!

Hi Again Alctel:

The attached photo might help?

However, the table in the picture is one that I made for typical everyday use. Big enough for a couple of people to have breakfast on, but probably is 33% of factory table's surface area. The difference makes the cabin feel appreciably more spacious.

The factory table also serves as the base for converting the area into a bed by laying the seat rest cushion over it horizontal. I have a convenient place for the original table in my fore-peak area for when Susan and I spend the night on the boat.

Do you still have the table-top and the tube or your boat? If so (or if not) if you provide me your description/pics, I (and others reading) can probably suggest some quite agreeable DIY work-arounds using items commonly available in the plumbing section of most hardware stores.

The zinc/aluminum cast fitting original on my boat that is affixed to the cabin floor (now painted gold in the picture) did have stress cracks in it when I bought my boat. I did repair to good result.

Thanks for the pics!

I have the original table top (with fitting underneath), something that MAY be the pole (a ridged steel tube) and thats it.

I found something that looks like a new fitting for the floor in a bag hidden away in a compartment though, so I may be ok, although no idea how to fix it to the floorboards.

I'll provide pictures this evening
