Tempation II is a 1982 C27. I need to replace the plastic runners of the slide cars. Does anyone know where to get them? or who manufactured the original cars? Thanks.

Might be SeaWay....

...Made a lot of OEM hardware for the older Catalinas. It was an Australian or English company that is out of business. Might be easier to adapt a slider from another brand to fit yours. The 1" T-track is standard... most manufacturers, except Harken, make lead cars for it. Try Sailnet.com, defender.com, PYachts.com or garhauermarine.com.

Modify Ronstan Plastic Guides

One of mine jumped overboard. I spent a few dollars and purchased ronstan RF987 nylon slide inserts from WM. I used a hot knife to cut / melt to length then used a sharp knife and a file to trim the melt out of the grove. Can't tell the difference between the two.
