I didn't realize she was a shoal/centerboard version. How is she on mooring/anchor? Does she tend to roll port/stbd more than a fin keel? I have the same set-up(granted I'm just a "cork on the water") but I've become very aware of the lack of stability while stationary. Wow! Have fun getting in so early. At my marina no one gets in until May 1.

Wow your all set,Its too early for me but what the heck better early than later hope ya have good weather. I 'll be coming up from Florida in April to splash in Greenport, I am hoping for great weather this spring and summer. Nick

I'm scheduled to splash on April 15. Unfortunately, the water's a little "hard" right now. Hope it melts in time.

I just pulled mine
Last Monday mine came out of the water for a fresh bottom job. I found a few blisters so the gal will require a bit more work than I had hoped for. Most of the blisters were on the keel and some on the bow with another small area on stbd about midway. I am going to fix the few I have and epoxy coat the bottom before they become a big issue. I should be back on the water in a week or so.

Free Spirit hunts while at anchor because of the high freeboard so I use a anchor sail on my back stay to solve that problem and its pretty stable port to starboard not as tender as you would think,Its a great boat for the Great South bay with a 3ft.6inch draft and while sailing I only put the board down when I beating into the wind are you going to the rOnDAYvous in Chelsea,NY this yaer? Wrenchs Wench, Are you talking about Cedar Point in East Hampton?

Having only one snow storm here on Long Island that turned to rain quickly I don't miss the stuff, why just yesterday we thought how lucky we are that were not snowed in this time of the month and we should get the paint on the bottom in the fall and then all base's will be covered BTW is that a public telephone? haven't seen one of those in years
