I need to buy new T bolts with toggles for the shrouds of my 1997 h26. But I want to be sure of the size before ordering them. The thread diameter measures 5/16. Counting the threads, I come up with 24. Is that correct? 5/16 24? The West Marine catalog has these items by diamater without reference to thread count. Do all 5/16 turnbuckles have the same threads? Is there a better source than West Marine? I live in Mexico and will have to send them to a friend coming down here, or wait and pick them up on my next trip north. Has anybody had any experience with shipping stuff from West marine to Mexico? Thanks. David King "Molly"

West Marine size is correct...

...the toggles are also available from Hunter for a little less. Other rigging suppliers have them also. Make sure you're getting left-hand thread.

Dave, West Marine should be able to put them

in your back pocket without trouble. And, yes your right on size. When you install them tape or tie them straight up so they don't fall to the side as you raise the mast and they won't bend again. Ray S/V Speedy

5/16x24

5/16 x 24 is the US National Fine Thread. Frankly, I have never found a fine thread bolt at West Marine and I always have to go hunting elsewhere for them. The T bolts for turnbuckles may be easier but you should enquire about the pitch of the thread before ordering.
