125 days depending on weather... probably not less, could be a couple more. But I have many tasks to complete before then, so probably more...

T minus 93 da. I tell you what if we had -5 around here the authorities would be opening shelters for the unprepared! Probably be a rash of boat fires down on Back Creek. Jeebus that's cold.

Merit 22- Oregon lakes
Our first sail in 2016 was on Feb 25th. The first overnighter was April 6-7th with no heater (but didn't really need it). 20* and 6" of snow this morning however, so it's an ice rink at the moment. expected flooding mid next week when the rain comes, so at least the lakes will fill again this year ;) .

Shooting for mid-April if it's warm enough to prep and repaint my cast iron keel before then. There's just a tiny section on the bottom of the bulb I'll have to do on the crane.
It's 19 degrees right now!

Like your thinking. 4-14-17. Here's hoping ice-out cooperates. Last year was 4-9-16. Somehow I was in before you..... ;)

Not even close to how cold it already has gotten this winter. We will be colder again later this month or in February. Grab a blanket... :)

I see where your "work" is... the patio is shoveled off, but not the docks. What's wrong with this picture???

I love the marina WiFi in winter so fast when boats are all empty if the pool was heated I'd never leave

We have an annual, cyclic, water release from Cayuga Lake which drops the level around 3 feet. This would be unworkable for us from the southern channel to even attempt passage north. The water level doesn't get back to a navigable depth until early May. I'm having the boat moved to a boatyard from the State Park Marina as early as I can in April so that the bottom can be VC17'd and gloss the hull and deck. Therefore at a minimum T-112, maximum T-130.
