Looking for some input on this product.. i used to use it when i had a waverunner to keep the moisture off the engine and it did an excellent job.. But since i'd be using this on the engine in our Catalina cabin i'm wondering if its fumey or smokey..

Reviews on amazon are great.

good stuff

Should work great. I've used T-9 with good success on motorcycles. Keeps the polished aluminum engine and transmission cases, rims ect looking good over the winter.

I like Boeshield T9 a lot but not for this application. It was originally developed by Boeing to protect aluminum airplane parts. It has a wax in it that helps it stay put outdoors. But not ideal for things that get hot. It also stays sticky if applied as thickly as recommended.

I'd use for a lighter spray that dries to the touch. Your engine's not out in salt spray such that a light spray might get washed off. Corrosion-X is my favorite but I've heard good things about the T-11 mentioned.

When my 5 yr. old windlass decided to stop working last season I noticed the motor turned into a bucket of rust, same model and what was different in the manual from the previous was the Mfg. recommended coating the whole motor with T9.
It looks like this product will hold up to the elements and a fresh coating every season should help in some longevity
