Has anyone every purchased from this company before? Seems sketchy but they have a Magma Marine Grill for sale for at least $100 less than anyone else. But on the checkout site, it asks me for my size (neck waist etc.). Seems like it is too good to be true but if they have a good rep., I might finally pull the trigger on a BBQ for my boat.

I may have found my own answer... seems the web domain is only a few months old.

Likely a scam, it is rampant right now with fake companies/websites, with prices 55% or more marked down.

Unfortunately, you are probably right. They offer free shipping with the delivery date a month out. How do they offer a $200 grill that would cost $30 to ship for only $63.

So... at least a month before people start trying to track down their stuff .... these guys skip and open a new store.

Skimming a few ecommerce trust sites, it does look pretty sketchy. There are no magic prices in the marine biz. Retailers that buy larger quantities may get better pricing but _nobody_ gets pricing that much better than Defender or domestic discount retailers.

The only exception I can think of might involve Magma canceling an order with an offshore factory and the factory trying to dump them at a discount, but I doubt it would look like this site.

Here's a clue from the return policy:

We accept return on products which were shipped out by us and if the item is faulty due to an error on our end (e.g. wrong item or low quality item).

Could be a drop ship company. They don't stock it, just have it dropped shipped.

I just looked up our wholesale pricing on the 17" grill and they are below dealer wholesale cost by well over $100.00!! No one buys that good so consider it a scam... Anything in the $200.00 range is a very good price for the 17" model and means the retailer is making little to no margin.

Don't go with an overpriced Magma grill with super expensive replacement parts - check out these SS grills from Kuuma and Nexgrill - they're less than the parts I need to fix my Magma, I plan on getting the Kuuma before the season starts.
