Any Aussies on this forum? If yes, could you tell me if the Sydney International Boatshow (Aug 2013) is worth a visit? I'm keen to see new sailboats and also interested to buy sailing trinkets and stuff.

Hi Ken , I visited the 2012 Sydney Boat show, and there must have been about 120 supplier stalls, and at least a hundred plus boats in the water, Beneteau had 4 or 5 new boats as did most makes, some very new, some just, another boat, i spent a few dollars and purchased a couple of trinkets but nothing i couldnt get from visiting the local boat shop, had a good day and was worth the visit, and will probibly go aggain next year but i dont know if i would travvel all that far to go to the show..

Steamboat, thanks for the info. If I add in couple of days holidaying around Sydney, then I guess it could be worthwhile. Thanks again. :)
