Hey all - I just thought I would post this interesting TV show listing on Tuesday night (7/3) - National Geographic Channel at 9:00 EST. These types of programs are far and too few apart :) Enjoy - Rob Hell on High Water [PG] Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at 09P One of the most rigorous sailing competitions in the world, the 54th Sydney to Hobart yacht race turned into one of the worst sporting disasters in history. Almost 100 vessels faced brutal 90-mph winds and towering 60-foot waves. NGC revisits the tragedy and analyzes the ferocious storm that left six sailors dead. Yachtsmen and search and rescue teams share their near-fateful tales of battling the severe storm conditions, and a news helicopter captures one amazing rescue.

Thanks for heads up

I'll also set the DVR. "Knockdown" was an excellent book that was a fast read with plenty of details and analysis on this particular race. Hopefully the NG program dovetails the book.

Great Book

Yes, I read that book - good read! I know - these TV shows over-hype the drama sometimes to the point where it gets annoying. They need to take into account that 1/2 their audience surfs in part-way through the program so everything gets repeated...over and over.
