isbid,Dennis Have raised and blocked hull "without" removing trailer.This allowed me to lower keel, remove keel bolt and prep for refinishing keel while rebuilding trailer. Computer was down so I lost touch.

I too am trying to remove the keel from my Venture 24 but am having a problem in that the lower end of the keel is able to swing down but the uppermost end seems to be lodged in the trunk for some reason. Could you please tell me step by step what you did to drop your keel out? Thanks, Radio Op
