Swing Keel

Well, my thoughts of a missing keel were finally realized during recent haul out. I guess I can not complain for just $1.00. However, any one out there know where I can get a use one, or does anyone have ideas on building one. Thanks in advance.Stewart

You lost your swing keel and you didn't know it until you hauled out? The boat didn't sail any differently?

I have no idea where you'd find a used one but Foss Foam still makes them. I think it's about $800.00 for a brand new one. To make one you'd likely need the old one so you can make a mold. $800.00 is not a lot of money for a keel.

Update

Have not taken out until now, as I was in process of reconditioning the previous owners neglect for 5 years. Have finished interior and now working on rigging and electrical.
