I have a 81 Catalina 22 that i am restoring and it is missing the swing keel. A friend of mine has the equipment to build the keel, does any one know where I can find the specifications for it.
Where are you located ? I'm planning to remove my keel for some prevenitive maintenance soon and if you are close enough would be willing to let you use mine as a form .
Hello Jeff. I viewed this Catalina keel drawing after I posted it & found that it is barely readable on this forum site! The drawing is on the web somewhere & is readable. Can't remember where I found it. Some other viewers will know. Notice that the drawing has 6 revisions Good luck, Bob B.
Jeff, There are a couple of Cat 22's that are being scrapped out and it would be a lot cheaper to buy and ship a used one than build it. Also get the pin assembly and any other gear you need. Ray
