Swing keel lifting rope!

As many would know my 260 is getting on in age and I figured that I should look at replacing the haul up keel line before it breaks.
I have search and searched but can't find any links or guidance to assist with doing the job.
Can anyone please direct me to a DIY guide for this job?

You obviously have not searched the H260 knowledgebase. Replacing the centerboard uphaul and many other modifications are at this link:

My centerboard line broke after 9 summer seasons on a mooring in saltwater. I plan to have it replaced -- and the attachment bolt & nut -- every 6 years while the boat is in the travel lift for bottom painting.

Since you will have to drop the keel, while it is out, carefully check the attachment bolt and nut and replace them if there is any sign of corrosion, especially if you sail in salt water. On my 1999 model H260, the nut is welded to the center board bracket. If yours is the same, you will need someone with welding skills in order to replace it.
