swim platform shower

hello all, I have a Beneteau 361 99 and the flimpsy cap over the outside shower has fallen off... its not a big deal but the shower head shows and it keeps dropping out a few inches. does anyone know what parts these are ? I also wouldnt mind changing the whole thing as the temp changer sticks out so I never were able to put the cap on and it doesnt have any markings of what's hot and cold.

Anyone has a setup to recommend for this ?

I'd think about install some kind of single-lever control

if possible. On my boat the left one is HOT, right is COLD, but they're hard to get the mix right.I do like it though; even a warm shower is great when you want a shower.

I had the same problem on my 2004 331. I ordered the new type of cover assembly thru Beneteau and basically upgraded the cover and housing. Problem solved.

Order through Beneteau

Gaute, you can order them through Beneteau. The part # for the cover is 019084 and cost $6.68 each. Get a log in for the parts section on their web site, then look under the 311 outdoor plumbing tab. It's item #7. Or if you prefer call them at 843-629-5320. They've been back ordered but are expected in next week. I happen to have one on order.

As for the mixer valve. It must not be installed correctly as it should sit apx 1/4 to 1/2 inch inside it's housing.

thanks all for the tips... I called them this morning and left VM to call me back but nothing so far. its so typical to have to review ALL boats to find one that has same item I'm looking for, hate that about the beneteau site. thanks for the part numbers Mike and Weasel, you have a prtnumber for yours ?

I'll also look how the mixer is installed while replacing all this, mine is cold to the right too which makes sense... nice having fresh water back there but once the mrs used nice hot water washing off sand

partnumber for dripless shaft sealant

hey all, last time I ordered from Beneteau I forgot to get more sealant or lube for the Volvo dripless packing, dont have a leak but I been using it from time to time and its now out... cant find it on the website.
