Swim Platform for 34

My latest upgrade is the swim platform. I had it made by White Water Marine in Port Huron, Mi. www.whitewatermarineinc.com This will add untold amount of enjoyment for the grandsons and ease of exit to the water for the garandparents (Ruth and Chris). It was easy to install, fits perfectly and looks like it is original equipment.

Really nice! When we bought our boat, we were looking at an O'day 34 and 35, ultimately we went with the 35 because of the sugar scoop but you've solved that problem nicely. The thing I like about the platform is that it looks like it is above, and provides clearance for the exhaust outlet. With the sugar scoop, the dinghy rubs against the outlet when getting in and out. Great addition!
Looks like it might be a great place to prop the dinghy on it's side and lash it to the rail rather than towing.

The platform is about about 10" above the exhaust pipe and 15" above the water at rest, it will be much lower to the water when motoring.
I had not thought about transporting the inflatable on it,but since you mention it I will give it a try. My biggest concern would be windage.
We carry a 2 person Ocean Kayak on our side deck so more stuff aft shoudn't be too tough.
