I am llooking for an easy way to board my moored sailboat.. and suggestions as to a make or style of transom ladder that might be out there?

Buy one

Buy one from the big supply houses and mount it on the stearn. You may have reinforcements on the inside of the stearn--I did. Get one with a fixed and a folding portion--the one-piece hinged ones are too short.
