I have a 85 h23, and need to get a sturdy swim ladder that attatches to the transom. The max weight has to be around 250. Any suggestions?

Go to the hunter 23 pictures posted by the owners (on this web site, under Boat information) and check the picture of "Mi Sueno" . it has an attacheable swim ladder, that would support your weight. Or you can just go to any marine stainless steel outfitter shop and custom make one throughbolted to the transom, opposite to the engine. Hope this helps.

We have a h23 and got a ladder from west marine and bolted it on and put a backing plate on the inside. Since the transom is curved we had to cut the support legs that go up against the transom at two differnt lenths. I think it is the 4 step ladder, can't remember for sure but when its in the water you don't have to hike your one leg over your head to get you foot on the rung. We have a removable lifeline on the back and I just wrap a sail tie around the ladder and connect it to the lifeline when not in use. Rob Morton
