Ahoy All,
On my Hunter 22, the bottom on my transom mounted swim ladder is less than a foot underwater when lowered, making it next to impossible for an older fellow like myself to use. Does anyone know of a company that makes extensions? I've searched the internet to no avail. Any Ideas?

A local welding shop ought to be able to weld a couple of extra steps onto it.

Yes, there are a couple out there. Here is one:

It would also be fairly easy to make one out of SS tubing and rail fittings. Or find one at a salvage shop and make a way to attach it to your existing ladder.

I solved the problem by using a length of webbing used for jack lines to create a step a foot or so below the ladder's last step.
