swim ladder repair

one side of my swim ladder pulled out.....bolt does not come thru to inside for access.question...can i fill hold with filler (which is best?) then drill all the way tothe inside and rebolt? i would brace with bracket inside.(goes without saying that lots of caulking would also be used.)anyone have any ideas.also i just got back from a 10 day sail to key west and back.approx. 80 miles one way from everglades cityif anyone wants my tale of (mis)advanture.... ie. 20 to 25 mph winds.5 to 7 foot waves for first two days. email me and i'll send.... not sure the list wants to see.....oh, and after 10 days and one call to sea tow..... yes, we are still married.steve26x "heard the call"

Swim ladder bracket base

should be filled with mucho epoxy. Try to determine why the ladder pulled out. Also please send me a copy. I just bought a house in Port Charlotte and this would be a likely trip.Glenn
