Hi, I just picked up a Suzuki 8 hp, vintage mid to late '90s. I need to change the lower unit oil. What is the oil capacity for this motor? This uses the usual weight oil (80/90?)? If you have a basic owner's manual you would be willing to photocopy and send me I would pay your expenses. Thanks, Larry

I never had a Suzuki, but every other outboard I've ever owned or worked on, you remove both the upper and lower plugs, then pump the oil in through the lower plug until it comes out the upper plug. Then you know it's full. The oil should come in a bottle with a nipply thing to facilitate this.
