I have come into possession of an older Suzuki 3.5 HP Outboard motor, in excellent condition, but I have NO information on this motor. Can anyone help with ANY information (Owner's manual, fuel mix, etc.)? Thanks.
.... by purchasing it from you! On the other hand, try ebay - there's always a bunch of owners manuals for sale, even for old outboards. Be careful - they tend to think of 'em as valuable antiques! Michael O'
An older Suzuki outboard huh? Well. . . I wish you the best with that motor. We bought one and it was a piece of S**T!! It would often die or start very hard. We did new plugs, all sorts of adjustments and such. . It even died in the channel with giant commercial fishing boats bearing down on us. Not too happening. Finally it just got to a point where it wouldn't start. Other problems included a water pump (impeller) failure. Perhaps it is possible that they can run well. . We are, however, much happier with our 2001 merc outboard. Just my thoughts. -h.hey
