Does anyone know any good reasonably priced surveyors in these areas who are familiar with H37c's. Or at least good reasonably priced surveyors

If he's still doing it, Don Miller is great. I understand he was the hunter deal years ago and he saved me a bundle years ago on my first Hunter 31. His wife, Pat Miller, runs/own Anchor Finance down in deal. Try calling there and see if Don is still doing surveys. If not, they would be a great source for a good surveyor in the area. You can also call Vikki Rasmussen(sp?) at Integrity Brokerage down at HHN (unless, of course, they are the brokers in your deal.) She would have a good reference too.

I would recommend
Mike Previti at 410-610-8761. He is probably at the higher end of local surveyors, but you don't want to compromise on 37 ft boat you may be considering (or any other boat, for that matter). In addition to going on a sea trial with you, Previti is one of the few surveyors who will go aloft to take a look at the mast head during the survey. He's worth it.

Jack Horner is a well known Annapolis surveyor. A good friend has used him previously. I personally have used Art Johnson (no relation) out of Rising Sun, Md. (410-658-3994) and so have a number of others I know. He sold Hunters for a dealer for quite some time and knows the boats very well. Does insurance and purchase surveys. Worth the call.
