What boat ? I' ve sailed SF to SD, it's all downhill. I've used Lorne Gould, SF Marine Surveyors, and Barry Ridgewell mechanic for pre delivery service

Chuck's Marine in Oakland is one of the best in the bay at 510-272-0765 and he will travel to your boat. Chuck serviced my Yanmar on my sailboat and my Volvo Pentas on another boat. I have other contacts for mobile marine diesel mechanics if you need them.

For surveyors call Danny at the yacht brokerage in the Grand Marina in Alameda at 510-523-5988 or Michael Wiest Yacht brokerage in Emeryville at 510-601-5010. They can provide good references. I have used their references for boat surveys. Feel free to tell them I referred them to you.

Correction- Bill does not operate out of Grand Marina. His service is 100% mobile in the Bay Area and he has a shop at his home in the Sierra foothills.
