Surge brake wires

I just took delivery of a new MAC m26. Can any owners tell me what color the wire is for the back up light on a 2004 Dodge Durango.I want to connect it to to surge brakes.I dont want to keep putting the brake lockout in the slot everytime.Any info is very welcome. Cockneyboy

DIY - automotive video

On the DIY web page, there is an automotive video that covers this. Basically, a multimeter is used find the function of the various wires within the bundle.

Are you sure they're electrically activated?

I have a 26S which is a lot older than your boat, but most of these brakes are physically activated by the push of the trailer against the car as the car brakes. Mine, at least, are not electrically activated at all. The only time backing is a problem, at all, is when you back up a relatively steep hill. Normal backing does not require any adjustment.
