I can't seem to load a picture for my profile and don't know why; I know the pic I am trying to post is small enough.

Also, I seem to be unable to figure out were to find messages I have posted or have once read and want to re-read. It is not easy for me to track or re-track myself through the maze of messages.

I just can't seem to pick up on the logic as I am sure there must be one. Everything seems to be so diagrammed and structured. . . I just don't get it.

I know it's probably a personal problem but a word from the wise to the simple would be appreciated; I am not sure i would understand the instruction even if one were to provide it:bang:but I'd try:cry:. My challenge of course will be to find my way back to see if anyone has tried to help me with this. Please accept my thanks in advance . . . :)

:stupid:Well, well, well. . . lookie here. I guess the profile picture or Avitar or what ever it is did get posted. i are a smart feller after all. But I do still have trouble knowing where I should post my questions. Why are there so many forums? I might actually like to post a question to everyone on Sailboatowners or HunterOwners or what ever other group there are rather than take a chance of limiting the possibility of receiving a good answer. I realize that if I knew my way around this MegaSite, I could make it work for me but I am too dadgum slow sometimes.

Try the "new posts"

Your not the only one Steveebryant. I use the 'forums-new posts" and set the time frame (upper left) to a few days. Provided you are a recent coustomer you can "area recon" and find your posts. If not just go to the bottom and start running back through time till you start to see something familure.
I don't start posts much but since most of us use "new posts" we will see anybody posting to any forum.
It may not be what Phil had in mind but it works.

If it is stupid but it works it ain't stupid.

Thanks, that bit of conversation was what I needed to get me to realize a couple of the features that this site has. Thanks for sharing the insight.

If a general question like electric, diesel, sail trim, etc then I use "Ask All Sailors". Otherwise I go to the Cherubini forum and post specifically to "H37-cutter". But since most like Bill use" New Posts" the answer might come from anywhere.
