Hi folks, getting ready to put an antenna coax cable, anchor light wire and spreader light wires in the mast.
Is the coax cable strong enough to support it's own hanging wieght without breaking eventuently?
I am thinking about having a light cable, sort of like the cable used for the shrouds attached to the top of the mast, then wrapping the coax and wires around that. Or is that just overkill?
I did read that if you used large tie wrapps and kept the tails on them that it would reduce the 'slapping' noise in the mast somewhat. Sound good?
Thanks in advance!
Jack
