I have a 1981 Hunter 27 with leaky portlights. I had been looking over the last year for gasket material to replace the dry hard shrunken gaskets in the ports but could only find the $5 per foot gasket material from the Bomar dealer. For those who are interested I found the perfect replacement at Defender Marine http://www.defender.com/product.jsp?path=-1|6880|6881|320592&id=1037197 It's cross section is shaped like a "T" giving a wide bearing surface for the window to seal to and it ony cost $14 per 10 foot piece ($1.40 per foot compaired to $5 from the window manufacturer) It takes 30 feet to do all 16 ports. I just put a little bit of silicone in gasket groove to hold the gasket in place.
